Program Registration Agreement
NEW YORK ENGLISH CAMP AGREEMENT
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
All information or services provided by Nile Language School (NLS) are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. NLS reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any time by sending a notice to you.
2. NEW YORK ENGLISH CAMP REQUIREMENTS
Student shall comply with all rules and requirements that NLS has issued. Student must not distract others or become a discipline problem in the classes, programs and activities. Otherwise the student may be dismissed from the program. There will no refund for these students and they have to take care of the fee to change the date for the airfare.
3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
All students are expected to arrive to New York on July 10th, and either depart from New York on July 30th (if attending three-week program) or depart on August 13, 2016 (if attending five-week program) . If students arrive or depart other than these days, there will be 150 USD extra charge for each day. For example, if students arrive July 9th, there will be 150 USD extra charge which includes airport pick up, food and accommodation. Another example is if student departs after depart day, there will be 150 USD extra charge for each day which will include transportation to airport, food and accommodation.
4. PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
Initial Deposit: An application fee of 100 USD (non-refundable) and a deposit of 900 USD is required to reserve a space in the program. Applicant will receive an acceptance letter after submitting the initial deposit. Required payments can be made at http://englishcampny.com/payments
In case US Visa is denied 900 USD deposit is refundable. (100 Application fee is non-refundable) After the US Visa is approved, 900 USD application deposit is non-refundable. If the applicant decided not to attend to the camp, he/she agrees to this condition.
1000 USD initial deposit is going to be deducted from the total fee of the camp.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
Rescheduling is not available for classroom sessions. No refund will be available for absences. There is no cancelation refund after student’s arrival to New York.
If students make the full payment and cancel their application after their visa is approved, we will do a refund without the initial deposit. This is applicable only if they don’t arrive to New York.
6. PROPERTY DAMAGE
Parents are responsible for the full replacement of any property damaged (desk, chair, vending machines, etc.) within the NLS Center by their child
7. FIRE ALARM
Students are not allowed to use fire alarm unless it is necessary. If the students use emergency doors other than its purpose, the students will pay $500.
8. SMOKING & DRUG POLICY
Students are not allowed to smoke or use any drug on the campus. The campus is a completely smoke & drug free environment.
9. PRIVACY POLICY
NLS considers the privacy of your individually identifiable information very important. NLS may collect personal information for evaluation purposes such as test scores & grades. NLS will not sell, rent or share your information to third parties.
10. MEDIA RELEASE
Student and Parent/Guardian agree that NLS, its authorized agents, employees and assignees may use the photographs, videotapes, student information and/or audio recordings prepared there from, to reproduce, exhibit, publish, or distribute for educational, research, promotional use or identification purposes. No compensation will be paid for this use.
11. MEDICAL TREATMENT
NLS is not responsible for the medication of students. Each student and their families are responsible for any medication needed during their visit to our program. In the event of an emergency, we will call 911 and all the phone numbers parent/guardian provided for the family on the registration form.
12. LOSS OR THEFT PROPERTY
NLS is not responsible for loss or theft of any property. Each student should handle their possessions with care and respect those of other students.
13. BEHAVIOUR AND RESPONSIBILITIES
No fighting or disturbing others physically or verbally in the program. NLS reserves the right to suspend or prohibit enrollment from students who repeatedly disturb others. Running is prohibited on the NLS premises. Food and drink, other than water and food required for health concerns, are prohibited at the classrooms and tutoring hall. Students are responsible to dispose of their own trash at the end of every class. Please dispose of food trash in a trash can outside prior to entering the facility.
Each student is required to stay with his/her chaperone at any program outing or trips outside of Pioneer Academy and Amity School.
14. SERVICES COVERED BY PROGRAM FEE
- Airport pick up and drop off service
- ESL program and Enrichment activity fees
- Books and materials
- All tickets to museums and parks
- 3 Meals per day
- Accommodation
- Travel Insurance
Please Note: Flight Ticket is not included in this fee. Extra requests such as personal shopping, personal orders are not included.
